Bavon Kirenga - Survivor of Rwandan Genocide
We would like to thank Bavon for sharing his personal experience with us. Bavon's story of overcoming unimaginable violence and terrible loss was deeply moving. The events that gripped Rwanda in 1994 are a warning to to those who fail to act in the face of hatred, bigotry, and racism. We would also like to thank Janie Halickman, Educational Outreach Coordinator for the Foundation for Genocide Education who put this together.
Monthly Dignity
This year MIND High School will be working on projects to support Monthly Dignity, a non-profit organization whose goal is to ensure access to adequate, safe and AFFORDABLE menstrual hygiene products. Many more details to follow!
